The MFC-9840CDW delivers fast high quality prints at 20ppm, whether you’re printing colour charts, vivid colour presentations and images or black text documents.

Professional Colour Copying

Create professional colour and mono copies at the touch of a button, with fast copy speeds and advanced copy features. Reduce your paper usage and costs by copying 2 or 4 pages onto one A4 sheet - simply select this option from the LCD menu. The MFC-9840CDW gives all your workgroup access to easy colour copying.

Hi-Resolution Colour Scanning

With a scan resolution of 19,200 x 19,200 dpi, you’ll enjoy quality scans every time. Scan-to-email, OCR, image, FTP or file with the very latest, easy to use, scanning software. iFAX (scan to email server) allows documents to be faxed anywhere in the world over the internet, without use of a telephone line, therefore reducing call charges. LDAP allows the machine to integrate with a directory server to look up contacts and e-mail addresses. Documents can then be scanned as PDF, TIFF or JPEG formats and sent anywhere in the world using scan to e-mail or iFAX. You can even use the scanner function at the same time as operating in another mode, for example whilst printing a document.

Super G3 Colour Faxing

Send and receive colour or mono fax messages the easy way with one touch and speed dial locations to make communicating with your most popular numbers quick and simple. You can use the automatic document feeder to send multiple pages, or the flatbed to fax from bound documents, giving you maximum flexibility.

Cutting Edge Network Features

Built-in wired or wireless network connectivity for sharing the machines capabilities with your network of users. To keep your data safe and private there’s SSL-Secure Socket Layer for secure printing (encrypted data). SSL is a protocol often used for secure internet shopping and banking. By printing through IPP (Internet Printing Protocol) the data is encrypted at the PC and sent through the network to the printer, then decoded and printed providing print security for your senstive business documents.

Direct Printing from USB and PictBridge

The MFC-9840CDW offers a unique function in the colour laser market. The print from, and scan to, USB function will not only benefit you in your normal working day, but is also an ideal offering to your clients or business partners who can print documents directly from their own USB memory stick whilst visiting your offices. And if you need to print images, these can be printed directly from your digital camera using the PictBridge interface saving you time on downloads, editing and printing.

Expandable paper capacity

As your business grows, so will your MFC-9840CDW multifunction printer. The MFC-9840CDW paper capacity can be expanded up to 800 sheet input with the addition of an optional lower paper tray – giving an additional 500 sheet capacity ideal for handling large print runs or specialist paper types.
