What's an A-Grade? A Grade machines are in 'as new' condition. They are a machines that have been returned as incorrectly ordered, not required or the unit may have failed on arrival in which case the failed part is replaced by engineers at Brother. Even though many of these MFC9420CN's have never been used (or sometimes even opened) because they have already been sold once they are legally not allowed to be sold again as 'New' - hence "A Grade". Each machine has been returned to Brother where it has been repackaged in a plain box (to stop unscrupulous traders selling them on as new) and thoroughly checked over, with any faults being rectified. Each machine comes with the same 12 months onsite Brother warranty as the 'new' machines. The MFC9420CN is Brothers top of the range colour all-in-one printer and is fully networkable as standard. For a 31ppm networked, colour laser printer/fax/scanner/copier the Brother MFC-9420CN at this price is an amazing bargain, and is suitable for any environment from the home office to medium/large office environments. Memory is fully upgradeable to 576MB, whilst paper capacity can increase to up to 780 sheets with an additional lower tray. As with all Brother colour laser machines, the MFC-9420CN comes with four individual colour toner cartridges, meaning you only replace a single toner once it is empty, keeping costs low.
Note: Printer is supplied with starter toner (Black 5000 pages, Colours 3000 pages @ 5% coverage), but it does not come with a USB/parallel/network cable. As this is an A-Grade device it is possible that the toner cartridges may have been installed and be part used.
